still smitten with the kitten

The cat has been let out of solitary confinement.  The kids have thoroughly enjoyed playing with him the past several days.

Julianna has so many scratches on her hands from playing with him that she has decided to wear gloves to protect herself from his claws.  Silly girl.

Yesterday we enjoyed a bit of 64 degree weather and we let the kitten venture outside for a bit.  It was fun watching him puff up his tail and arch his back at the dog.  I know Lego and Light will eventually be good friends, but it was pitiful watching Lego hiss and shake out of fear every time the dog bounced up to him.

At any rate, it was a nice moment of sunshine after an otherwise grueling day at work.
