From Sea to Shining Sea
We spent our Fourth of July at Carowinds yesterday. I got five free tickets for doing a mystery shop there and we dropped Josh off at Mamaw's house yesterday morning and headed to the NC/SC border with Jules. It was as hot as Hades but Julianna had a lot of fun. Neither Jonathan nor I had been there in over a decade so it was fun to go back and see what had changed.
When we got back we made it just in time to see the fireworks at Creekside Park and we had two tired little youngin's so we headed on home shortly after that. It wasn't the usual Fourth of July cookout, but it sure was nice. I'm already looking forward to next year.
